R. Andrew was established in 1995 by R. Andrew Besic. Andy took his years of experience working for custom home builders to establish a residential remodeling company that reflects integrity in its employees, integrity in architecture, and a commitment to tasteful, professional solutions to residential building and maintenance problems.
Located in rural Kane County, Illinois, R. Andrew is a trusted local, family-owned and operated residential remodeling company. We primarily serve the Tri-cities area of Batavia, Geneva, and Saint Charles in far west suburban Chicago, Illinois. We also serve the outlying areas of Kane County, DeKalb County, McHenry County and portions of DuPage County.
What We Do...
At R. Andrew we focus on you, our client. It is your needs that direct our work. Upon our first meeting, we will discuss and assess your remodeling needs. From this meeting, we will determine a plan of action for your project. We will handle as much or as little of your project as you wish. Some clients prefer to handle decorating needs themselves, while others prefer a turnkey project where they simply move into the new space when it's complete. We can do it all - it's up to you.

R. Andrew Besic - Andy began his carpentry career in 1986 in order to put himself through college. Upon graduating from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor's in Business Management, he intended to tackle the corporate world. After a short time in the office, he longed to get back on the jobsite, so he decided to open his own remodeling company, and R. Andrew was born. As the principal owner of R. Andrew, Andy insists upon a personal presence at all projects. He is the man who provides estimates as well as pounds nails. Our clients love him!
Kristine M. Besic - Kris, Andy's wife, holds a Bachelor's in Marketing from Northern Illinois University. Using her professional background in marketing and project management, she keeps the office running smoothly and coordinates all projects from start to finish. Her goal is to keep our clients informed regarding the status of their project and make sure they are satisfied with our progress.
